Physician General, Dr. Rachel Levine joined The PLS Reporter for "Women in Pennsylvania Government" Tuesday afternoon. 

Dr. Levine said the one thing she always told her daughter growing up is the same thing she wants to make sure all girls know, which is that "girls can do anything."

Rep. Delozier admitted that her gender was what she felt helped her win her position as a Representative. She claimed that while she was running against many other men, being a women was what helped her stick out.

Rep. Kim has had a unique career path before becoming a member of the House of Representatives. She went to Boston College and studied communications which led to her being a news reporter for ten years before running for city council.

Rep. Gingrich began her career as a medical technologist out of school and came a long way to becoming a member of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives. She is currently the Majority Chairman of the House Labor and Industry Committee.

Women in Pennsylvania Government: Secretary of the Department of Aging Teresa Osborne

Secretary of the Department of Aging, Teresa Osborne, joined The PLS Reporter for "Women in Pennsylvania Government."

Sec. Osborne began her career in the Department of Human Services 26 years ago, and hasn't looked back since. She admitted that her grandmother was a big part of why she entered this field. Sec. Osborne watched her grandmother fall ill and she saw how the social workers brought her family comfort and she claimed "something clicked with me" which made her want to pursue this career path.
