Elect David Rowe (R-Snyder) took over former Representative Fred Keller's seat, and Rep. Frank Ryan (R-Lebanon) unveiled legislation to completely eliminate school property taxes.

Rabb seeks support for legislation that would fine legislators who leave due to felony related issues

Rep. Chris Rabb (D-Philadelphia) joined The PLS Reporter to talk about legislation that would fine legislators $100,000 who resign or are expelled from the legislature and then are convicted of a felony. 

Rabb discussed how expensive special elections are and how currently tax payer dollars are how they are being funded. He believes that if legislators must leave due to a conflict that results in a felony, they should be paying for the special election race, not the taxpayers.

Navy veteran reaches for the District 37 senate seat

When Pam Iovino finished college, she was at a crossroads in her life. Thinking it would help her figure out the next step she joined the Navy.

“I thought I would just stay four years,” Iovino recalled. “I had a specific objective to get leadership experience and start building a resume with some nice bullets on it and to also earn some education benefits so that I could go to graduate school.”
