Advocates rally to demand action on CPR bill

Dozens of volunteers and workers from the American Heart Association joined in the Capitol Rotunda Monday morning to ask the legislators to vote on Senate Bill 521.

Senate Bill 521 would ensure that every Pennsylvania high school would give CPR training to every student before they graduate. This bill was created by Senator Tom Killion (R-Delaware) and is on third consideration in the Senate this week. Rep. Stephen Barrar (R-Delaware) introduced House Bill 921 which has been referred to the House Education Committee.
