Members of the Philadelphia Eagles dropped by the Capitol this week in support of "Clean Slate" legislation. The players met with bipartisan groups of legislators and held a press conference calling for the measure, which would seal old nonviolent criminal records.

  The final pieces of the commonwealth's 2017-18 budget puzzle were put into place this week, as the House and Senate passed revenue measures to balance the state's books for the fiscal year, including a gaming expansion bill that needed two days of debate in the House. Gov. Wolf signed some, such as funding for state-related universities, into law immediately, while others await still await his signature for enactment.
